Pattern and Prevalence of Maxillary Canine, A CBCT Based Study

Background: Maxillary canines are considered as the keystone of mouth. It plays main role in supporting upper lip and biting tearing food. Canines also called cuspids, one is second most common teeth. The purpose this research was to find pattern prevalence maxillary canine. Study design: a retrospective study conducted for duration six months from April 2022 September at dental department Karachi Medical Dental College, Karachi. Material Methods: on 200 subjects visited sciences hospital. patients who willingly participated included. CBCT data collected sorted further use. Results: Out subjects, 96 (48%) males 104 were females. left buccal quadrant impaction observed 21 15 5 male 10 female have both position. 8 platal position impaction. subtype l 55% 44% males. II females There no case type IV subtype. VII higher 66% compared 33%. Conclusion: canine commonly side right side. that palatal predominant than other impactions. Keywords: canine,
